GROUND BEEF PRODUCTION

APPLICATION - Measure the % Fat Content of Ground Beef in a Chopper using our Near Infrared Instrument System.

The On-Line NIR system is being used to control each batch to guarantee that it is within required Specifications.
This is a Continuous Process which operates ON-LINE and in REAL TIME.
This NIR System operates under the most demanding measuring conditions possible.

DESCRIPTION - Plant Operators use established recipes to produce Batches of Ground Meat. These recipes are used to make a Blend of Meats with a particular Fat content.

By continuously measuring the Fat Content as they blend it in the Chopper, the operators can adjust the Fat Content in Real Time. This saves Chopping Time and money.
By continuously controlling the Fat Content, Re-work is greatly reduced. This saves plant time and money.

QUALITY - By using the HK NIR System to Measure and Control the makeup of the Ground Meat, the Consistency and Quality of the Final Product is improved. This reduces the Variability of the Final Product and increases the Quality.
