APPLICATION - MEASURING THE ORGANIC MATERIAL IN A WASTE STREAM WITH A NEAR INFRARED SYSTEM.

DESCRIPTION - This is a Continuous Process with our System being used for Closed Loop Control and Visual Monitoring. Customers are very interested in keeping the Organics, (Fat, Protein, Sugar), in the Waste Steam as low as possible.

BENEFITS - There are 3 items of interest to the Customer:

1) REDUCED COST - THE CUSTOMER OFTEN MUST PAY FOR THE ORGANICS IN THE WASTE STREAM. MORE, WASTE ORGANICS IN THE WASTE STREAM IS MORE COST.

2) GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS - CUSTOMER HAS A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF ORGANICS, WHICH ARE ALLOWED IN THE WASTE STREAM. HE CAN BE FINED IF THE ORGANIC LEVEL IS TOO HIGH.

3) EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE - ORGANICS IN THE WASTE STREAM ARE AN INDICATION
    THAT THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS IS NOT RUNNING CORRECTLY.
 
REPEATABILITY - +/- 0.2 %

MEASURING RANGE - 0.5% TO 1.5% WOULD BE A TYPICAL LEVEL.
